Can anyone give me some insight on the acute pain division? I got a call from a recruiter saying there is an opening, $160k at plan and first 6 month guarantee and I was told ON-Q has about 80% market share. I have read some of the comments on this board and I'm not sure if it's the competition or just disgruntled employees so I'm hoping for some honest insight, but that may be too much to ask. lol. Is this product reimbursed or do patient pay out of pocket? What are the top reps making? Thanks in advance.

I am interviewing for a Territory Manager position in the Acute Pain Division. Can anyone give me any insight to this position and the products. How is the culture? Employee moral? I will be coming from a company where moral is bad and the turnover is horrendous. I don't want to get into another bad situation.
How attainable are goals? What percentage of the sales forces actually hits plan? How is management? How does OnQ stack up against competition? Is it difficult to sell? Who has the majority of market share in this space? Any information is very much appreciated.

Think we're going to be moving in a more consumer-facing direction for acute pain. Only touch poi t in which there can be appreciable growth.

It's a good place to be - perform or get fired though, but 160K is conservative you can make way more if you have experience and know what youre doing it's a plus if you have ortho contacts as well

just heard a large number of On-Q reps and managers were let go. Definitely wasn’t performance driven as many were well above plan.
