Here come the dumb decisions and layoffs

Why layoff experienced sales trainers and tradeshow organizers?
What's next, our production leads? We've seen this before and it resulted in huge losses and a long recovery twice before.

 

Wait... Who/what areas internally ( home office) were let go?? Unless you are just speculating- We have not hear me anything yet out in the field.

 

Any updates?

 

The two sales trainers who reported to TM - Ken and Kelly were let go, also the Tradeshow person.

 

That's not correct. K.E? No he is now a mgr and the other field trainer was offered a position.

 

Not field trainer, sales trainer, in house. KD(male) and Kelly(female). Gone.

 

Allergan just cut 30 plastic surgery reps last week. 92 to 62

 

That's because they know that we are better in the OR than their own reps are. We are in the OR every day. Their implant reps maybe visit an OR once or twice a month...At least the rep in my territory.

 

We are stronger in the OR. They will keep us in the OR. Allergan is more pharmaceutical/office based. It is what it is.

 

I heard 17 sales reps from LC laid off.

 

It's all about optimizing efficiency and where reps live, etc. The Lifecell reps have a point about OR experience, but generally upper management believes a rep is a rep is a rep.

 

but the LifeCell girls throw that P around at meetings

 

I am out of the loop? I did not hear about these layoffs. Why are they filling vacancies then?
