You work for stupid GSK and you are calling us suckers?

    Idiot.

Memo: your company sucks, just like all the other big pharma blow jobs.

What source do you have to say the contract is ending ?

Just heard the opposite. Mangers going to a meeting in March. We will be getting Breo full on to sell and possible the whole ellipta family. If is going to end, the 3-year contract is over in June not April.

Advair goes generic March 28th...that would be good date for contract to end..any news about planned meetings doesn't factor into equation...we had a national meeting 400+ reps, everybody speculated that surely contract would be extended since they were spending big money on meeting,, nope 6 weeks later announced contract was ending....

Looks like the original poster was wrong. We got Breo! That's why this site can be frustrating. Why the doom and gloom when it didn't even happen?

Actually, we are only training on Breo. We will not be able to order samples of it. GSK already has an Inventiv sales force in place for Breo. They just don't want us growing Advair at the expense of Breo. You may feel good about this, and you can call me crazy/paranoid, but I just don't see much longevity left on this contract. Nobody promotes a drug when there's an available generic on the market. I'm guessing maybe another few months at most? I've already started sending out my resume.

if GSK betrays you, use the speak up line to report their shady behavior. GSK is under the CIA and breaks it all the time!

Unless contract pharma sales gig is your 3rd favorite hobby you could live without...anybody in contract work should be looking from day 1 of start of contract to go direct..

Contract is ending - the Breo training was a sham to keep us out of the field for a week. They are upset Advair is outperforming Breo in many markets still so they are trying to find ways to keep Advair out. Many good reps are already being terminated over trivial things and their spots are not being reposted. Be smart and start job searching now. Think realistically, why train you on a drug only to tell yOu during training that you will not have samples, will not have literature and cannot even use then CVA? And if they let you go before IC is paid out next week they don't have to pay you that either, which is very questionable since it is $ you fairly earned

How do we find the speak up line? I have more than a few things I would like to report about how my manager treats his reps and about a few other issues. One an request help for days, but no one ever responds or offers a solution. And I have seen the GSK and Inventiv reps making major shady calls and behaviors. This company has zero respect for its employees, I have never been treated so badly by a company
