I'm a rep in a state that has one of the hardest coverages out of any other state. I for one know that selling TXR and OXR is hard and sometime disheartening. I can't count how many times I've got a doctor to write and get burned by insurance. I would love if I never had to fight for every script, or if I got paid more, or if my territory was smaller, or access was better, or if my list didn't change every quarter, etc etc... but that's just how life is.

This all being said, I know no matter how much I complain to corporate or my RD, nothing will change. My job as a sales rep is to do my job and sell. The things I can control is my attitude and my efforts. I'm a strong believer that you get what you put in. If you call that drinking the koolaid then so be it, but I'd rather be positive and optimistic than go bitching about everything.

In addition, I believe that leadership knows the struggle we go through. They were ALL reps before and have led thousands of reps in their life time. If they could solve all these problems without worrying about the future pipeline or answering to investors then I'm sure they would. I hope you guys get the same feeling I do when you personally speak with anyone from our leadership team. The feeling that they care. They're not greedy monsters... They're human with a job to do; to make the board happy and investors money. That's how a public company works.

I feel like I'm gonna get alot of heat for saying all this but if we just do our jobs and make the company money. There will be better opportunities for us all in the future. More raises, more promotions, better cars, coverages, better meds to sell... The list goes on and on. If all of this is BS and too much for you to swallow, Supernus has a great reputation in the pharma world and you can get another sales rep position elsewhere. I have been getting in-mails every week since I've started and went to a few interviews as well with $85k+ base offers from multiple companies.

My advice is to weigh your happiness and opportunity costs. I will stay with Supernus.

Spot on. I find comfort knowing a majority of reps here feel the same way. Unfortunately the vocal minority who are unhappy just happen to be the loudest on anonymous message boards.

Oh you mean that bs crossover data that no one buys into? Thought you were referring to our pivotal data in migraine ;)

I'm a rep and don't care about these meds because Supernus doesn't. If they did they would be investing in these drugs. Please don't counter this with the BS marketing pieces they give us. I'm talking about legit investments REAL pharma companies make in drugs. Face it we act just like a generic company, the only way we know to make money is to raise the prices of our drugs.

If they want to spin their wheels fine by me but don't expect different results than what your getting.

What do you mean "legit investments"? We are a start up pharmaceutical company with only 2 products. We don't have money to toss around like other big pharma companies.

I urge you to look at our company's 10-K or 10-Q forms. Since you came from a B2B background, I am assuming you have a business degree and should be able to understand an annual financial statement. They are very transparent on the direction of the company and also our financial status. We are pouring our revenues for future pipeline growth. TXR and OXR are fueling growth of this company, they are not the products we become rich on.

It takes a lot more than real investments and throwing money around to make a product successful. If all it took was money, Aptiom and Qudexy would both be much more successful. Novartis and Upshire-smith both have much deeper pockets than we do, yet both of their products are stagnant.

As a fellow rep, I urge you to put the effort in to making Supernus successful and also yourself successful so we can all sell a better product in the future. Imagine having a block buster medication to sell. How much fun would that be?

Let's look past the impact migraine may or may not have. The field has hit or exceeded every forecast promised to the street since I've been here.
We were told 2017-2018 for ADD products to market why the 4 year delay?

ummmmm what?? 810 and 812 delayed until 2021???

I thought we were still on track for 2019?? What the hell. One of the only reasons I was sticking around in spite of my ridiculously uptight RD. Get a damn life, bro.

This press release and Taylor's email make me wonder about what the previous poster said about Shire buying us out.

    Please elaborate.

Also we had a GREAT!!! 4th quarter with no bonus. Can you help me understand that.

$130+ in the bank and you cant honor your commitment to the field? You are hurting yourself in the long run! The next time you ask for a final year end push you can forget it. Rockville you should be ASHAMED of yourself.

^^^^^^^^ AGREED. And it was in the WORST taste to disclose this as such an amazing accomplishment, and then find out from your RD that we "missed bonus" but it was a "great year for the company".

Total Q4 scripts up only 22% vs Q4 of 2015 but sales are up 43%!!! This price rise strategy can only work for so long. THE REPS are the ones keeping the ship from sinking everytime you raise the price!!!! That VM left this afternoon touting this success made me realize this definitely does not feel like my company anymore.

Now do you think I'm just a disgruntled human being or now are you realizing that what I said may be true. You are not the best interest of this company, believe that! When you stop guzzling the corporate kool aid, you will realize it. I've made over 130k each year that I've been here, but know when you are being played for a puppet. It's not always about the money, it's about trust. The company is making a killing off your efforts while down playing what your doing in the field. These meds are just fueling the "pipeline" and they could care less about anything else. There's a reason vv put a deadline on who can sell 810 & 812. They want to hire young people so they don't have to pay larger salaries. 55-60k sounds a lot better than 80-90k reps.

So sad that Supernus has already forgotten who actually generates the revenue at this company.

If the people upstairs don't view this recent act as biting the hand that feeds them they are too far gone to help this company.

What a bunch of pussies. One of you saying you are making +130k another saying 100k which I am guessing is close to 2x what you were making before you took this job. Others saying making +100k is a joke b/c company makes millions. Seriously? Are you that deluded? Show me a company that operates differently. What a bunch of whiney little bitches you are. Here's an idea- since you are so sure you are getting the shaft why not bring it up at the next POA ? TR and VV give you the chance to ask any question you want every quarter. But you won't do that will you? Nope- just a bunch of anonymous keyboard tough guys.

new to this discussion but if I have to read one more person reference "your last job at enterprise or when you were selling liquor" on this site my head is going to pop off. There are reps that have been here going on 5 years it's time to change up the rhetoric.

You're pretty anonymous yourself. And pretty rude. Maybe a golden child? Or just woke up on the wrong side of the bed....everyday. Supernus is a sweet gig, but the company is being absolutely shady lately. Yes, they do know how to limit their budgets in paying us which sucks but that's all part of business. And hello, cafepharma is meant for anonymous venting. You just did it too ;) make-a sense-a?

Now go move product and quit crying like a little millennial bitch!
