metrics, traditional pharma. Marketing has won. At Fast Start, most of our district is looking for the next opening.

These idiots do NOT care about $ales. Assholes like PhoneyPhrank only care about Bullshit metrics. Pfucking Phrank has not sold ONE dose of Prevnar13. He has NO clue how to sell. ( Would you buy anything from his Dead Tree Personality?) Therefore, his focus is Bullshit metrics. Sad. Pfuck you Phrank.

I think marketing runs the company in every division. Complete control.

The positive buzz is gone from Vaccines. Now just another primary care division in Pfizer.

spot on. We all came over here to get away from Pfizer. We found a fun, nimble group of survivors from Wyeth and a culture that took care of it's own while performing.

Fast forward to today and Pfizer has taken over and brought all that is so bad - reach and frequency metrics, penetration metrics, individual development plans that no one ever looks at once completed, teleconferences, webcasts, speaker programs and worst of all - VAMs, KAMs, SAMs, all the iterations of the non-accountable leach that permeates the rest of Pfizer. They just clog up the system and stink while collecting high salaries. We don't even see accounts like we once did. We spend more time on social engineering projects.

I will take my time, fake my calls, and get out on my own terms.

sad, this was the last best place at Pfizer

The Vaccine division was always in it's own little world. The Wyeth reps never left/wouldn't even think about a promotion or position outside the cozy division. Look at the average age/tenure of the "original" Wyeth people in the division. Great pay...little to no work/responsibility for years!! Basically sole source inventory/order takers- while dealing with Pediatricians who are by far the nicest specialty to deal with. Even when Pfizer took over they were pretty much insulated and untouched by Pfizer corporate. Now they have to deal with the Aholes and bullsh*t like everyone else. Boo hoo. You had a great ride for all these years. Be grateful it lasted this long. Stop the crying and leave if you don't like it.

Sorry your interview did not go your way. We do have occasional vacancies and I encourage you to apply again. Perhaps use less examples of your signature gathering skills when answering interview questions.

Very funny. A sole source/ recommendation driven order taker mocking signature gathering of other divisions. You think you're better than other reps??? Really? That's the joke! Why all the crying from Vaccine reps now. Not being left alone like in the past?? The only people working less than the reps are the VAMs. What the hell do they do?

Disgusting what PFE has done to Vaccines. That is why they purchased Wyeth and now all they hire and promote are PFE employees, who have no clue about vaccines. Look at all the tenured people that count the days till retirement. SAS- shame on you and your a--kissing VADs.

Gym time, nail appointments, drop off/pick up the kids. Not enough hours in the day.

I love the vaccines division. It's more dynamic and there is much more accountability. If that's what you're after, this is a great place to work.
