Looking for some honest feedback on the Psychiatry division.
    What is the salary range?
    Bonus? achievable? not achievable?
    Products good/bad?
Thanks. My company laid the sales force off on Wednesday and trying to get some honest information about the position. Went through a phone screen interview already but not a lot of information was given about the position.

Between other Lundbeck, Otsuka and Takeda you will have 12 -16 partners. Anywhere from 3 people per drug you promote to 6. They want 8 calls per day. Most managers are not overly micro. A couple are neurotic, that was why someone asked you which area. If you want exclusivity and autonomy over your business, look elsewhere. If you are just looking for a gig, it is OK - nothing special

Unless you are looking for a job that will probably last no more thatn 1-2 years. Sure why not but if you are thinking long term, you are at the wrong place.

The manager for that district is probably the worst manager at Lundbeck. Very unrealistic expectations and if you disappoint her, you will surely know about it. You are good for about 6 months, then the kid gloves come off. She has loss two reps, Chicago North and south due to her management style. Other members are the team are looking to get out because of her. Upper management does not have a clue nor are they interested. Its a job but you will surely be stressed by her constant desire to be viewed as the best. She has forgotten what it takes to succeed. Most of us are looking!

Stay away from the Chicago Psych positions. If you are REALLY in need of a job then take it , and start looking for a new job. The manager is TRASH, and she will F U over. Her boss is also a SOB

Your statement that "most of us are looking", is true for most of us. In Dallas, it was amazing to hear that so many of the people I knew were looking to leave. All of those I spoke with had a common complaint of too many field rides, unrealistic expectations from management, and a poor pipeline. Also, complaints about ASM's that contribute nothing of value, was also common.

So, it's not just Chicago that's problems.

Is the Chicago ASM a former trainer? Most ASMs and the RD in the south have no clue what they are doing. It's beyond sad now.

Run Forrest Run! Worst place to work ever - stupid managers horrible regionals and inept leadership! Apparently the manager in Chcago has run off many competent people so why would you go to work there unless you are desperate for a paycheck
