Right old technology in every BU. NA business unit being shopped.
My advice is to enjoy the ride. They are slow on everything!

im considering interviewing here. This company is private so why are goals so unattainable? Is it backed by an equity fund?

Merz is the only place where totally incompetent succeed. Upper management would not survive at a reputable company, their level of incompetence would not be tolerated.
Have you ever been with a company that just can't get their act together? It's not like this is a some startup co. Everything is a challenge here. They are clueless on how to effectively launch products, couldn't make a good deal with other companies if their lives depended on it, anything the home office tries to do always gets screwed up, deadlines are rarely met.
The company will not survive. At some point the family will pull the trigger, hopefully.

Bad culture, awful management (or lack thereof), products suck, nothing in pipeline, unethical business practices is running off all of the good people.

Yes, it's the entire North America BU is being shopped. No profits, high turnover, another company is purchasing.

Why would you make a statement such as "no profits" when you clearly dont know what you are talking about? Who do you think drives a majority of EBIT for the company? North America as it is the most profitable business unit for the company. Who do you think drains global profitability? Germany which is why they are cutting head count overseas. My point being is that if you are pissed of and hate your job, hate your manager, thats one thing. Go ahead and post crap about them based on your first hand knowledge. However, dont pollute other employees opinions based on false and misleading statements you know nothing about. Just because you be believe it doesnt make it a true.

Oh ok Is it truth your selling? Does the high turnover and the Merz being sold ring true???? As for profitability, cooking the books doesn't count! If so profitable, why did Billy run away with his tail between his legs? Who's profitable? Which BU Mr. Know it all? All of it is OLD technology. Why can't Merz keep good employees? And then, since you know everything why won't Valeant take JH?

The business has been consistently profitable for several years on an ever increasing trend. This will happen again this year, that is the truth. And yes, it will happen again next year.

Lol. You are clearly an idiot. Cant comment on the turnover or if the company is being sold because I dont have first hand knowledge. But your conspiracy theory is laughable. So the last All Hands Meeting PB went through FY17 financials YTD in front of hundreds of "witnesses" and all those numbers were false, which means the global accounting firm that audits Merz must be in on it too. Hilarious. Stick to the facts you smuck. Since you know very little about this topic you try and make yourself seem knowledgeable by diluting the point and dragging in turnover and JH to the equation. Areas I never mentioned or claimed to have knowledge.

Why is the Merz Board still sweeping the porch while the house in on fire???

This is not my first tragedy in pharma but the worst one ever. In over 20 years in the business, I have never been surrounded by worse management or corporate and brand leadership. What the fuck are they doing?

Why is Merz's CEO watching from the sidelines? Why is the CFO tolerating the same poor performance year after year? Why are the good people leaving or let go? Something needs to change because the writing is on the wall.

Trying to keep the facade of the house intact while the inside is burning down is not a good strategy. RIP Merz.
