Cork doesn't produce any special lenses that HWV doesn't produce. It is a sister site and produce the same crap as in HWV just supplies different countries.

As for surgical, all Wavelight products are produced in Germany, consumables (some not all) are produced in Greishaber, Verion is produced in Germany. Greishaber feeds APD so without that plant feeding APD it would impact custom paks and consumables which in case you didn't know are needed for Catarat surgeries.

Uh, wrong. Ask anyone in supply chain, Cork produces particular styles that HWV cannot due to capacity issues. It is true that 95 percent of surgical is produced domestically, with few exceptions.

There are no special IOLs produced in Cork they are the same as HWV except Cork only produces 4 models currently while HWV produces the entire portfolio.

The split between HWV/Cork product to the US is due to volume and mfg absorption nothing else. When there are issues they support each other. It is called business continuity.
