the dead tree comes to life whenever he around the Wisconsin dbm!! no wonder he gets all worked up talking about penetration!!

Allow me to give you two examples that illustrate what a Moron PhrankPhalmer is:

    1. His fascination with penetration, which is clearly a Flawed Metric speaks volumes.

    2. Phrank has instructed to his DBM's that reps are Not To Place Orders on behalf of customers. What an idiot. Does Phrank not understand this is where the rubber meets the road? This is where the SALE TAKES PLACE!! We are a SALES ORGANIZATION. Moreover, this is Value that we bring to the account. Thank God they are calling us, A.Hole Phrank.

Phrank would rather his team do more busy work/activity than provide critical service to our customers!! This clearly illustrates how far removed he is from the sales model. This Moron is Activity focused instead of SALES FOCUSED. To this point, his Dead Tree personality could not sell water in the middle of a desert. His Leadership with respect to sales DOES NOT EXIST. Therefore, since he has no clue on how to sell, he will send you down a trail of busy work that he can chart into his GAY color coded spreadsheets... This does not YIELD SALES MORON!!

Jeff should have STAYED, Phrank should have VACATED any form of sales leadership.... You were a great DFO.

I will not even go into his desire to be "feared" by his team. What an insecure prick. No one "fears" a dead tree. We are all laughing at your stupidity and insecurity.

We sympathize with your current family situation and wish her all the best. However, this does not mitigate the fact that you remain a clueless douchebag. Wake up, and get back on track.

the Pfizer way. Run off true Sales leaders and promote marketers. Get ready for a stream of activity metrics.

Schutta is marketing all the way and has no idea of sales. We are in big trouble here PHRs. Hope he get's rid of DBMs that used jeff but who will he replace them with except other marketers?? jeff was a kind, great leader. schutta is arrogant and ego driven- complete opposite of jeff. Typical pfe!

the VAMs have a very strict set of metrics that they follow, even if they don't make sense. No matters, it is all the VADs look at because it is all Pfizer understands. I thought account managers were special and "above brand"? Bet Sales is the same with endless metrics within 3 months.

Wyeth lost to Pfizer-that's funny. Where the hell have you been?? Oh yea-Vaccines You had it good for many years. Be grateful it lasted this long. Welcome to Pfizer reality. Toto--- you ain't in Kansas anymore!! If your an old time Wyeth rep be grateful, you are probably pretty close to retirement. For the others-good luck!

Interesting observation re: Jeff. He turned 55 on October 06. This unlocked all the retirement bennies: pension lump, retiree medical. Jeff's last day was October 31.

Clearly, this illustrates that he could not wait to get out of the pfucked-up collegeville environment.

I can only imagine the bullshit that this man put up with to cross the finish line and cash out.

    Well played Jeff. PfuckYouPfizer!!

i thought about Jeff this weekend. Going back to the office after break, I wanted some career counsel and I could always get good advice from him. Listened, asked great questions and helped me answer my own questions. I will miss him, Pfizer's loss.

If you're an old time Wyeth rep (age 55 or close to it / 25-30 years service) get the hell out while you can. Your lump is probably 1.5 million give or take. As interest rates rise you will see that number go down exponentially. Basically you could be working for nothing. Working for this crap company is not like working for Wyeth. No Pf**king Pfun!!
Keep an eye on that calculator!!

Ck out the number of legacy Wyeth VAMs left. Then look at who gets promoted-PFE idiots that know nothing about vaccines. do your calculator asap.

Someone once told me that the VAM/SAM position should come with a mask and gun because you're basically stealing money doing nothing.

I'll admit it I drink the kool aid. For big pharma Pfizer is a good company to work for. This division has a great culture and super products. However these 2017 goals are off the mark (every year in history reps say that but this is different). 2016 was a unique one time shot year. How can we grow that?! Instead of setting something realistic they take 2016 as a new baseline and plop a growth goal on top. When it's not panning out panic and fear set in which rolls downhill. Of course the goal was not off but all of a sudden there must be something wrong with the sales force. Threats start, hints of layoffs, hiring freezes, budget cutbacks and a plan to recapture 2016 levels with a non-recommended 19-64 group. All this and the product is still generating $6 billion. We will get thru and things will be OK. It did not have to be this way. We are still selling tons of new Adult. Maybe Jeff could have stopped it.

You work for Pfizer now my friend. Things are a little different than the old Wyeth days. You're lucky things lasted this long. You'll see the old timers over 55 leaving ASAP-especially with rising interest rate dropping the lump sum pension. Good luck if you actually think things will get better and you will be OK.It never gets better with Pfizer.

"Threats start, hints of layoffs, hiring freezes, budget cutbacks and a plan to recapture 2016 levels with a non-recommended 19-64 group"...... Are you saying you can't sell the product unless you have a recommendation forcing doctors to use it?? I thought you guys were the elite sales force better than all the other divisions??? Stop bitching and start selling (instead of being dose counters and glorified order takers).
