Bill Ackman sold almost the majority of his shares in Valeant back in December. It was claimed to produce a tax loss for his investors then was going to put money back in. He has not reinvested and has control of two seats on the board of directors. All of this and he only owns a small 5% stake. What a fucking joke he has played on everyone at Valeant.

I cant believe people would just either completely fucking lie or comment without checking facts. Ackman sold 3 million shares in December. He still currently has 18 million shares of equity and options representing 9 million shares. Thats 27 million shares he still has dumb shit, 7.8% ownership.

Man, some people really wanna tear down this company. That goes for a lot of negative comments on this board, take it with a grain of salt. Peace out.

You must believe everything on the internet. Yes Ackman has 18 some odd million shares of VRX. HOWEVER outstanding shares are at around 347 million. 18 divided by 347 = .05. Which is five percent. Who's the dumb fuck liar now?

He owns 7.8%. The percentage he owns is irrelevant: he can have a board seat with 0 shares. Its useful to have someone on the board looking out for investors and not just sitting there to collect $200k/year to do nothing (like the prior idiots that were on the board).

Bill is the main reason the price is where it is now. It'll be 10% or more worse if he didn't own or have influence over that many shares. He basically gambled and is on the losing end, since what he does is not investing. He's doing his best to bully this company to a higher price, but the fundamentals and fortunes won't change overnight, still too many headwinds.

Precisely! Don't know what that idiot is ta lking about. BA owns about 8% give or take. And as you said that's WAY MORE than a board member at your average company.

I cant believe how many loser shorts there are on this thread.
