Anybody else feel like it's necessary to start selling off label to keep up with quota increases?

Fuck off...you know your not doing it. But if you are, there is a nice jail cell waiting for you. And you must be a shitting sales rep, this product sells itself.

No. I don't even feel like it is necessary to sell Latuda. I work about 4 hours a day 3 days a week. What is there to say about it that docs don't already know. I love this job.

The really crappy part will be after the Adolescent Schizo indication. Since they can't effectively scrub by diagnosis (only by age), they'll add all the adolescent Rx baseline into our quota that they had previously been scrubbing, even though nearly all of it is actually bipolar business. So, our market baseline will take a huge jump even though we can only legally go after that very small percentage of it that is schizo. Fun times ahead. And in Gish's email it said they hope to submit for adolescent bipolar depression next year? So we'd get the indication a few months we lose exclusivity? Geniuses, I tell ya'.

Wake up Gomer. We aren't going to even be employed here after 7 months. Look at the history of this company. They cut entire sales forces about a year before patent expiration. That's why i'm jsut doin like a couple of teh posters above... Working 10 to 2 for 4 days each week. I'll start looking for another job after Valentine's day. But i want to ride this cushy job for as long as i can.

Doing so this time wouldn't make sense. They'd have to hire an entire new sales force within a year to promote dasotraline.

Last time I look at our job description it calls for us to be out in the field calling on customers 5 days a week and 8 hours per day. Your work schedule is grounds for dismissal and most importantly is a reflection of a flawed and lazy character.

they would have to catch me or find me to "dismiss" me for my lack of work. I have been milking this job and company for just over 3 years (1 included a PCE trip to Hawaii). My manager is clueless and has no way of catching me otherwise she would have by now. I have been fortunate enough to take Flex positions with contract companies the last 2 years around the holiday's to make a little extra cash. Works out perfect because they give me a car allowance and I use Sunovion's car for the job. When my manager pulls the district gas records for the month I am filling up right on schedule. This company lacks leadership and brains and I love it. It also helps that my manager hasn't done a real ride along in about 3 months and isn't scheduled til end of February (which she will probably have to reschedule again). In fact I think I am going to have Sushi tonight.

I guess the real question is: Are you actually a drug rep? If so, you must be a SHITTY drug rep. Sales is 80/20, if you haven't figured that out yet, you're an idiot. And if it takes you 40 hours a week to do your job, you're a complete idiot. I've won PCE 3 times (including Hawaii) and work Monday (sometimes) through Thursday about 4 hours a day. Every company is exactly the same. If you're GOOD AT YOUR JOB, you can be very successful working it like a part time job. If you suck at sales, well then I guess I can understand why you would need to work a 40 hour week... I have a feeling we all know where you are in this equation.

I definitely know where I stand on working hard and getting promoted. It is so easy to compete against lazy people. While I will be making more $s and receiving promotions, you will still be out in the field as a silly drug rep!
