The worst in the company's HISTORY!!!! Please it can't be said enough here, get out while you can!! This place has been nothing short of a Led Zepplin for the last 3-4 yr's. much better places to be and get PAID at. What a shame this used to be the place to be now people can't leave quick enough. F you Alcon/Novartis shame, just a complete shame. I'm actually embarrassed to admit I work here now.
The reports were horrible for upper management and culture. Nothing will be done about it though. Their answer to this is "town hall" meetings and regional conference calls. I don't know one person who isn't interviewing right now, and you'd be a fool if you didn't.
I am so glad to have left Alcon or better yet the pharma/med device industry. Now banking/balling in O&G and never looking back.....I love high gas prices now by the way....Drill baby drill.

all other regions are having fun from the Asia posts and I don't blame them. They need to live our lives to realize the frustration.... We have a regional president who is like a fish out of water even after 2 years in surgical business. We have a regional CFO who is clueless about P&L and has no idea about compliance btw, refer to Korea as an example The HR head has the worst leadership retention performance ever seen in the region and if you exclude the stability in Phaco development teams to see only commercial teams the picture is terrible We have a medical affairs head who for 2 years hasn't had 1 meaningful activity or knows even 1 good KOL in the region on top of it he doesnt even know our products and rumor is that he is paid a million $ a year We have a franchise head who is birthed physically nor mentally present in every meeting he attends be it with doctors or team members. His only job is forward emails from global and the other way around. And yes he is doing China... what God knows ? The list of characters is endless....
