Every day is a vacation at DWH DEEPWATER HORIZON so don't worry about The DOJ knocking on your door in the middle of the night or the whistleblowers literally lining up at the inspector generals offices. It is the kind of place people willingly pay to work for. Company cars- your choice, Mercedes Benz, Ford F-150, Audi 5000. 401 K is so good people are raking it in and leaving the organization early, well before retirement age. Upper management, well you could write a Harvard Business review about their transparency and innovation. Yes, you have found a true workers paradise!

Someone is hitting the Kool-Aid early in the week.
Agreed - 4th floor with blinders on to the work being done or who is contributing. Just walking around in a daze.

And spending money on consultants left and right. I need one of them by my side, maybe I'd love it here too

We need - we require an answer from HR - why would our company hire a Vice President who who has been criminally charged (ARRESTED) with FRAUD in our industry? What company does this?? How can we build any trust or confidence when our "leaders" are corrupt.

I see why the poster is upset and wants answers. So, lets say your kids swim coach was arrested for child porn (not formally charged but arrested)would you still want him near your kid?Nope, didnt think so.That's why its disgusting that Horizon would hire a VP arrested for fraud in our own industry (not a sales rep or admin, but a VICE PRESIDENT!)hOW desperate are we?Its a black mark on this company whether he is guilty or not. Horizon and the management in charge of hiring him should be ashamed.

You are an idiot. You just compared an alleged white collar crime to child molestation. Great job.

Did the reference simply fly right over your head?It was an illustration of arrest vs conviction. No parent wants their kid around someone "arrested" for a crime. And no reputable company should want a Vice President running anything who has been "arrested" for a crime, particularly the severity of these charges.Geez, didn't think I'd really have to explain that one.But there ya go.

Do you not read? It's all over the news and on Cafe Pharma. Even my great grandmother knows about this. Check out Insys Therapeutics on Cafe Pharma for all the details. The Horizon arrested VP is Michael Gurry. He, along with 5 other Insys Therapeutics employees was arrested in October last year and headed to a jury trial this year. Doesn't look promising for any of them. I'm not sure when HR hired him but it was AFTER his arrest. People at Horizon should chill about it though as it sounds like he won't be with us long.
