Why measure performance. If you don't want metrics turn off the TV and stop watching sports or anything like you 401K or the employment reports. Even better--go become a teacher. They are not responsible for performance, they just have to show up for an acceptable review. You people are an embarrassment. Pay for performance Snowflake.
Hummmm.............Big Shareholders, Big Results........Go buy someone and increase your sales, that's the formula, not the employees you hire, they are pawns. They are only a number.
Guess you weren't there. Metrics as in referring to how people were treated not as in sales numbers. You better go look at Houston's turnover rate and performance. Several multi million dollar tenured reps left/ pushed out. Head back to the gym and do some more curls. Cause you don't have a clue what went down in Houston. But I guess it's easy to talk smack.
Perhaps the question is: Where is the VP of Sales in this? Hiding to avoid any real decision making? Is HR involved in sales issues which is way over their heads?
