Did anyone read the fine print? The company reserves the right to take 3% of sales for ASC/Quintiles. You may end up paying 100k for a QASC that makes 50k. I believe last year I was told if you grow it's a no charge Quintiles.
Run....if you haven't gotten out in the past 2 years you are a moron. This company is killing the best resource they had....it is not the plates, combi hole, scallops etc (def not the nails). It was the reps that busted their butts. I got out and the grass is definitely greener elsewhere. Depuy killed another great company, see J&J ortho when they bought Depuy, see Hand Innovations, see acromed, now see Synthes.
While I won't admit to being a moron, I will admit to being ok with the comp changes that were implemented for 2016. Reduction in base comp but the opportunity to make more $ if I kicked butt, which I did. But with the introduction of the quintiles rep, I have to say I can see the future and it looks a lot less lucrative. I'm getting out.
It was sneaky of them to add that "disclaimer" to the Quintiles piece. *When*, not *if*, they kick in the commission % to cover the Quintiles' pay, it will cause a massive exit of the top SC's who have remained. Management's decision to seek low-cost sales personnel will be mirrored by the dilution of reliably skilled SC's, which will undoubtedly affect sales volume. Just a matter of time now.
Management's decision to seek low-cost sales personnel will be mirrored by the dilution of reliably skilled SC's, which will undoubtedly affect sales volume. So true and what a huge gamble by a company that is incredibly conservative.
