What is going on with this new venture? Lots of chatter on investor calls, but no action or results. Why can't they get this off the ground?

Signature Solutions is just a consulting service intended to discover cost savings within the hospital's supply chain. But sure, investor's have picked up on the implication that ZB will also be able to provide "cost effective solutions" to that same customer. But that's where the story completely falls apart. The only way anything innovative or cost effective happens within ZB is via an acquisition. And God help those poor suckers that sell out to become part of the ZB family. Keep painting the front of the house while the back of the house is on fire!

Sig Solutions is a great concept and has the potential to meet a real need in helping manage healthcare costs through programs of efficiencies, patient satisfaction and engagement, outcomes research, etc. and etc. But....so far there is minimal action and absolutely NO direction from senior management to get this initiative moving forward. The frustration in the field and internally is noticed. It is very disappointing to see it simply drag along without a cohesive strategy. So far, it seems those in charge just don't know what to do with what they have.

What this team can do is incredibly impressive. However, to say that it falls on them to drive it isn't necessarily the correct view point. It will need support at our level by engaging surgeons about operating efficiencies. Driving support through that channel, while also bringing that team in at the c-suite level is the ideal setup. Easier said than done of course, but possible.

Completely agree...as with everything we do, it takes support and collaboration with the field and corporate. Each has a role and especially those of us who directly call on our customers, we can help open doors and provide followup.

Are you sure? His current role that just changed is just renamed, still oversees the same product as before.

Anyone who knows Mr. Skalski is aware that he is a no talent BS guy. However, he is the kind of minion that Kleopfer would have to carry out his agenda.

Sorry, his BS has never baffled anyone. The reason he has had so many jobs, including one with Biomet. He was a regional manager and was terminated for incompetence.
