Christmas is coming... Get ready for more cuts

 

I've worked at Rotech for 18 years. I've seen a lot of changes and not all have been bad. My opinion, which no one at corporate has asked for or wants to hear, is this...quit hiring people at the CSC, PAD, ABC, DEF, etc, and RIF'ing employees in the locations. Leave the employees at the location to do their jobs instead of RIF'ing the very ones that look your patients in the eyes day in and day out. Locations are cut to the bone and these are very employees that break their backs for Rotech every day. With the fear of losing their jobs all the time. Also, every employee that gets the boot, still lives in the local community and knows all of our referral sources. We don't need unnecessary bad press. We have enough to deal with.

 

Is there any truth to the rumor that congress will reverse cuts to dme in this lame duck session?
