Why didn't we pay everyone off?

    When we were worth almost 100 billion, why didn't we pay everyone off that wanted to come after us?

    Leadership thought they were invincible. Pure fucking arrogance. Never thought the music would stop.

    MP didn't want to dilute his shares by using equity on acquisitions, since debt was relatively cheap. He should have used $150-$250/share to buy all those companies, then everybody would have some skin in the game. But noooo, he rather keep the number of shares stable, run up debt, jack up product prices, drive the employees crazy, and his billionaire status was secured. Apparently, there's a fine line between genius and crazy.
