Question regarding Merck Background Check

Hi All,
Was wondering how long does Merck's background check (First Advantage) usually take?

Also, what kind of things do they look for? Drug Testing, Education, Criminal, Financial etc,
But do they also do income verification? In the background check GPA and Salary was optional input, not a required field.

Thanks for the response. The background application is accurate however I was curious as to whether they check stuff that wasn't required like GPA or income verification since I left it blank.

you do have to provide your college transcripts or your diploma - if you graduated a long time ago
