    ICT typical day

Drop kids off/sleep in if no kids

    Make breakfast

    Watch news

    Get starbucks

Attempt a call, get locked out

    Lunch

Try call #2 usually locked out

These reps maybe 6 calls a quarter at best.

I agree with the above post. I am a ICT rep that has zero access to my accounts. It is very frustrating. I continue to get paid has I have for the last 6 years attempting to call on my accounts.

Well I certainly would let the world know about your low importance in life......why not use your talent and do something worthwhile while you still can ? You will be sitting in a rocking chair soon wondering where your life went so fast.

I caught my matrix partner ict in street clothes getting lunch once. I winked and moved on. I'm
    No snitch.

ICT is a great job for having no access.

ICT and is a complete farce. It is industry known. These positions will be eliminated sooner rather than later. Big salaries matched by even bigger egos. The positions are less than worthless. Think about it. They account for zero prescriptions yet they command over 150K in salary and bonus. Don't forget the care, healthcare and retirement benefits.

This is the age of Brexit and Donald Trump. People around the world are fed up with with crap like this. Believe me, there is pressure being put on upper management to eliminate these jobs. Pretty easy math actually 200K x 100 positions = $20,000,000 in savings per year. That is enough to keeps the lights on in philly annually. ICT, you should bow your heads in shame when you attend National meetings.

I'm shocked they still have these jobs, looking at the call histories shows it's not worth it. The ego are hilarious, nucala team has some yuge egos.

These ict systems are very anti rep and only getting worse.

I guess it's a CYA to show they are trying at least.

Prolly can't for political reasons. Someone needs these people to get locked out of offices and pretend to sell the whole portfolio.

Another classic, the area where I worked, another ICT rep called on a system with zero access. She left her job, but wasn't forced out. Had fun seeing her getting lunch chilling out.

Another system barely had access but had a few reps making calls, no idea how that worked. Did away with those ict reps and merged what little access into our teams.

The last ict in my area called multi state(not that large of area tho) and called on specialist once every few months if that, but didn't want us to go in even tho frequency would support.

It's comical how this happens still, but whatever.

Here is a little newsflash. ICT does in fact work. And despite what you think, they work hard. As hard, in fact, as any rep in Gen Pharm. The story about the ICT rep out to lunch in street clothes could be any rep in any division - unfortunate, but true. I have worked in both Gen Pharm & ICT and believe that through both divisions of the company there are workers and slackers. I happen to know great Reps in both divisions. You are correct - the accounts are hugely difficult to access, but they are important accounts and this environment will only continue to grow as the industry shifts to keep up with Obamacare. & to those haters who believe that 0% market share BS, I can attest that indeed shares are growing & in some instances with consistent Breo above 18% & Anoro above 30%. Let's all take a beat & remember we are on the same team. Jeeeez

Look up the call history on those accounts. Anyone can look up what access looks like. Most ain't working that much, they are important but increasingly unseeable.

I will agree on one thing, there are low access gen med in street clothes.

Dms are always in street clothes though.
