Is it really a big surpriseGSK would block this site in the corporate office (like many other companies do? In fact, most companies block things like chat boards, porn sites, gambl No sites and other time wasting websites because they are paying you to actually work during the your time at the office and not paying you to troll the internet.

 

There is no shock from those who aren't kool aid drinkers. GSK corporate is much more interested on this board than average. Believe what you want, the way ppl defend the practices here show you something's up.

A. GSK cares a rats tail about what employees say about them. They are there to make money and improve stock figures.

B. This site is to allow people to vent.....and they do as expected.

C. There are more reps complaining, because there are more millennials expecting handouts.

D. Period.

 

This is the oldest company in Pharma age wise for employee. I hardly would blame any millennial since there aren't many to begin with, I look at other boards and this is the only one who constantly tries to blame a generation for GSK failures.

I point to Pfizer as in first class in bridging generations and running a successful company.

That's the truth. For field sales, MAYBE a handful on vaccines, ICT, diabetes. Copd is the 2nd most likely spot.

The 1st and obvious area where younger reps were hired is the asthma expansion due to patient first adaption, old timers were the main ones complaining about this system and they want new to Pharma that didn't know any better about PF. This was told blunt to me by a higher up.

So all the talk by grey hairs about entitlement should be looking at themselves in the mirror. This is a very old field sales force.

There isn't anything crying in the above. The only reason they brought in new reps is because people were constantly complaining about patient first and being stubborn. Yall created this toxic environment years and years ago. This isn't 2003 anymore.

There is obviously a few defenders who 1. Blame millennials. 2. Call ppl sparky. 3. Call ppl trolls. 4. Make any attempt to divert from the topic. 5. Try to save any pride GSK has left. 6. Use the same vague lame comebacks. 8. Avoid specifics

I went back to threads from 2011, I won't bump them. So why would the same things be said year after year? If the same issues keep coming up, the it most be true.
