Allergen buy Alcon 2017?

    Allergen market cap 90b, so it's big enough.Culturally it would be a good fit.
    Not sure who else would be interested in buying, if Novartis considered selling.

    No one will buy the infrastructure and the dregs of human capital that is left. What they would be interested in would be the brand. Expect a sale and a dismantling immediately thereafter.

    if Novartis pull out all the baggage they sent to Alcon, some one may buy, otherwise who will buy a company lead by a bunch of fools

    AGN has no interest in Alcon. Never going to happen.

    Negotiations with several interested parties have been going on for some time now. The problem is that we are a hard sell at this point. No one likes the price tag.
