Synergy remains an interesting biotech opportunity to me, but I think the company has a lot of work to do to reassure the Street that it can really compete on its own in the market and gain real share once its lead drug plecanatide hits the market. Without a large partner (Ironwood has Allergan(NYSE:AGN) and Nektar (NASDAQ:NKTR) has AstraZeneca (NYSE:AZN) selling its OIC drug Movantik), I think a lot of investors fear that Synergy will never manage to break through and could find it in a situation like XenoPort did with its restless leg drug. I believe there are some key differences between those situations, though, and while I do worry that Synergy's plecanatide sales may ramp more slowly than its bullish analysts' forecast, I think these shares are worth more than $9 on the potential of plecanatide.

The recruiter that contacted me said that it will be a contract, and Synergy is looking to roll the reps into their headcount in 2017.

 

Has anyone heard about a Skype interview? Had phone screen. Just wondering.

 

Spoke to few recruiters about contract. This is not a direct hire. This is a contract position with possible rollover in a year or so. I don't know time frames and process specifics. Had my phone screen today with Publicis recruiter and skype interview tomorrow. Hire date looks like Feb 6th.

I hope everyone is not that dumb that they can't realize that Synergy is hiring contract reps because they are trying to sell the company after approval. Then the publicis reps will be fired. Good luck.

I was told company car and had expected salary listed on that sheet we had to send in at 90K and she said I was within range. Has anyone heard anything beyond their skype interviews? I guess there is a hiring event in Dallas the week of Dec 12th.
