Who can actually perform ultherapy? I realize the doc has to be trained via company but once doc is trained can ANY individual in the office be trained to use the machine or does the company have a specific protocol stating only nurses, MA, PA, ARNP, estheticians have to perform the procedure on patients. For example, can a receptionist in a med spa/anti aging center with no medical background go thru the company training (via doc or rep) and become certified to do treatments on Patients? Not asking if it is wise just if it is possible. An esthetician in Plastics told me she could do it, but the ARNP could not??? Florida has lax med spa regulations (i've heard) and curious about the regulations and the company policy on who can administer the procedure. I'm currently a pharma rep w another company/ not devise-- but curious about this procedure as i see it more and more in different practice environments in Florida. Sincere feedback appreciated as i am considering it myself. I've heard of good and questionable results, and that it is harmless --but I've also read about some serious facial damage /burns/palsy etc....so just wondering who can actually do this modality.....and any guidance for those of you that are in the know....thanks....

Only Herr Övenstüffer may perform such a highly technical procedure.

Unfortunately for consumers, regulations in FL are very lax and that is why you see ultherapy in different practice environments. If you are considering Ultherapy you should make certain the individual is trained and experienced! There are increasing reports of adverse events and this may be proportional to the number of individuals utilizing ultherapy without any formal training in anatomy and neurology etc.... In the wrong "user" hands nerve damage is more likely. It's a cash cow for the physician...well after the pay off the 100k initial investment....for that reason alone, know your provider. Hope that helps...

It looks like the washed up comedian/actress is back posting here based on the last two posts. Realself still shows that the majority of patients are still satisfied, despite the fact she has tried to rig the voting.

Ultherapy is very old technology surpassed by many other devices in the market because of very low pt. Satisfaction. You read realself, it's all there in black and white. Facts are facts.

Looks like facebook also deleted her ultherapyruinedmyface page for bashing ultherapy. She violated the facebook TOS allegedly.
