Oncology- WOW! The special reps who get more vaca & more $ and barely work cause they trip over each other and can't see anyone. Failed trial is karma for this division. During the expansion they overlooked their own internal top talent and hired a few favorites- Virology has been noted by the CEO has having the best launched product in BMS US history yet couldnt get hired, just a few favorites. Yet we are losing our jobs most likely by the end of the year. Everyone in BMS has said you are more likely to get hired if you're not from the company. Hello BMS- other companies retain top talent. I can tell u the onc manager I interviewed with hired and external candidate with NO onc experience, yet I have been a proven BMS rep with great numbers throughout my career. I'm sure an onc rep or onc DBM will say some rude remark but believe me, I am not alone in my thoughts...the entire Virology division along with managers are scratching our heads.

You are NOT alone in your thoughts. And to all the assholes who will have something to say, wait til you get displaced next year because BMS Onc over hired in anticipation of an indication it will never get. Maybe Merck will hire you, but doubtful

I know numerous folks who came over from other BMS divisions. Look in the mirror, it's not always someone elses fault. Do you want a participation ribbon for applying? Oncology is expecting a half dozen new indications over the next 12 months. Jealous much? Don't break your mirror.

They probably shit the bed in the interview process or weren't good enough in their current role to even get that far. Sniff sniff. Shit stinks when you're too dumb to realize it's in your bed.

We deserve 6 weeks for what we bring to this company. You PC slackers and " specialty" reps are a joke. Delivery people doing catering on the side.
You couldn't carry my briefcase. The worst oncology rep = 10 of you losers.

LOL You do nothing. Everyone knows oncology reps have no access and are a joke. I can see just about everyone on my call list, whereas you can see maybe an MA now and then. Nice try, loser.

Briefcase????? Who the hell carries one of those anymore? You must be easy to spot being the only one left at the company who carries a "briefcase". No wonder you're so angry you old, dilapidated, washed-up relic!

Like I said, an onc rep who is full of themselves would make comments how we suck & that's why we didn't get to join the elite. So top performing reps who launched QUOTE per Giovanni "best launched drug in BMS US HISTORY" can't do the job. Get over yourself..I hear how hard onc works &
It's a JOKE!!! The drug sells itself & maybe the company will wake up & get rid of some of u "royal" assholes.

lets not kid ourselves. I am a DBM and could not find anyone with oncology experience to even interview with BMS. Three of my reps quit in the last four months. All three cited the kindergarten primary care culture as the reason. These are people who have been with me since the beginning. The reps that remained have been treating their new counterparts terribly. I have had it. I was so happy to join this team ten years ago, now I can see no difference between BMS oncology and primary care.

I haven't been with BMS that long. However, the Oncology team at BMS is the worst that I have seen in any company. They seriously don' do anything. Very few impactful calls. Product almost sells itself and the Onc sales reps twiddle their thugs to look busy. So many unproductive meetings, lots of complaining about everyone and everything and they are just plain lazy.
