    Abbott (ABT) said its Board of Directors declared a quarterly common dividend of $0.26 per share, marking this the 371 consecutive quarterly dividend. This cash dividend is payable Nov. 15, 2016, to shareholders of record on Oct. 14, 2016.

    The dividend is low and worth next to nothing after taxes are taken into account. You can do much better elsewhere.
