I just heard that supposedly the CIA is to end in June 2017. What does this mean for GSK? What should change going forward, and what will actually change?

june 30, 2017. Everyone will have to complete some training into 2017. Yet not the full 6 hours.
No major changes announced. But I am sure something will be publicized after OIG signs off on everything in June.

Some states are continuing with the CIA lanugard in their stats for a year so so longer but the OIG and. GSK will have met its requirements in June

    Again? When did it leave?

People were ranked on sales and there were sales contests in Jan/Feb. I couldn't believe they offered a sales incentive bonus that 100% had to do with sales.

Also the rankings, sales reports, and those dumb conference calls are all rewarding and punishing on sales. I'm pretty sure many were in trouble for lack of scripts with specialists.

I'm shocked GSK has been called out on this yet. Nothing wrong with sales mattering but they aren't consistent with what is and what isn't allowed.

No sales contests in our region. Sales are pushed hard in our region but the people with the higher ratings and thus the higher bonuses usually have lower sales.

In Jan/Feb there was a contest for growing share past a certain point. Was set up by RVP, one person even asked on call how this wasn't a violation of CIA and was never properly addressed. Few thousand to winners.

The OIG didn't make up the conditions of the CIA, GSK drafted the terms of patient first and they were approved. We can rank based on sales but our clueless leaders have doubled down on stupid. Hiring the consumer queen will be more of the same. (Yeah, I know, give her a chance)
