Was contacted by a recruiter for an overlay position. The position is in Neuro promoting a newer epilepsy drug. Only about 20 positions 2 year contract car allowance. Anyone know who the company is? The timeframe on this hire is this week.
How much is total comp? Is it expected that we would be hired directly at the end of a two year contract?
Please make sure you don't forget this... They will always promise that you will get hired directly by the company at the end of a contract. I have been on 5 successful contracts and not one company has ever hired a contract rep on to be part of their company. Period. Save your money if you take the job and don't live beyond your means. Best advice anyone can give.
Pfizer hired me from a vaccine contract a few years ago, and they actually hired about 15 of us. It worked out really well. Not totally impossible, so don't be discouraged!
So how are you to decide if you even want to go through with the interviewing process without any salary knowledge? Thats crazy
