In a new territory and have been getting feedback from several offices that their healthcare providers have decided to stop seeing pharmaceutical representatives because seeing the reps, especially when with their managers is a total waste of their time. Also the many questions being asked by reps take away valuable time from patients. But then, even more ridealongs are scheduled and more questions have to be asked more competitively. Totally misaligned with customer and market dynamics.

I couldn't believe when I entered this industry that there wasn't some type of multi company pow wow to NOT let this type of thing happen. There should have been some strat get amongst all companies to relieve the pressures may perceive from seeing reps.

The industry gets hurt by companies like gsk that have too many managers in one area. These calls are often the worst since you have to abuse relationships.

Ah yes, Sparky the Troll. A Denizen of Philthydelphia. In between Cafepharma postings, he hangs out in the men's bathroom smelling farts. He especially likes being there the day after there are curry lunch specials in the cafeteria.
