Amgen it seems from the reviews are much more negative than 10 years ago. Would you join Amgen as a Senior Manager? Why or why not? ie. I've been reading the lack of progression opportunities and comp/benefits have been cut. What are Senior Manager chances to make Director after 3-5 years?

Any current employee insight would be greatly appreciated!

If you want to make it to a Director, you will need to play kiss ass with VP levels and above. No talent or experience is needed. If you think working hard will matter, I suggest you look elsewhere. If you are innovative, look elsewhere, unless you can temper your thoughts and hold it in. Amgen likes lemmings not innovators. They kick those people out.

It's that bad huh? How is AFP going? How does the business perceive those that are part of AFP? Any word on what the AFP group personnel do when the transformation initiatives are over? ie - are they getting kicked back into the business?

If your sexist, ageist, and homophobic, the AFP organization welcomes you. Isn't that right DCI.

Stop come in here asking your stupid, entry-level questions. If you're called for an interview then ask these questions yourself. Dumbass.

If you add as much value to the enterprise as you just did to this thread, no wonder you're unhappy and disgruntled. I would assume you would want to do as much due diligence from outside the interview process prior to accepting a position - perhaps not after thinking about your intelligent response.

AFP is a joke and hasn't added any value. It's to pay off Bain and give them $$$

Wrong - I left this shit hole a year ago and couldn't be happier! They have a 30%+ turnover rate. Did you find that in your "due diligence". Yeah.
