Pfizer just abandoned its plan to split into two publicly traded companies. I am quite surprised by this move made by Pfizer. Because a split is something that has been long speculated by Wall Street. Also investors clearly displayed this frustration over the low stock price. With this latest news, looks like the company is depending heavily on M&A to grow, if so how far will dealmaking help in boosting sales.
