I heard they are paying new Allergan reps with experience 110 base, 60 bonus first year.

 

Within the last month 3 to 4 people have left corporate in Bridgewater to join Allergan. They are being very aggressive in recruiting due to the failed merger with Pfizer.

 

hahahaha, no, no one there is making anywhere near that. 100% to plan is $6000 per quarter.

 

We aren't leaving for the money, we are leaving because we have integrity and do not want to be associated with this bottom feeding company and its scummy, greedy executives.

 

No joke people! My partner just left for Allergan and just attended a meeting they all just had. Her base is $105k, and yes, target bonus is low at $33k. But they have different contests a year that pay out some top $$$, and some are making more than I am now. It's not about the pay, it's about having a freaking job. Allergan just bought a Derm company last week, and we're looking to sell us off. Allergan expansion coming in November. I will be applying, and my friend says her boss is great. Why trash Allergan when they are willing to hire us. I know of 3 reps who have been hired by Allergan in the last two months and they are happy.

 

That is damn good money for driving around and doing nothing. That ain't gonna last.

 

I know for a fact that Anne has been recruiting and interviewing people from GSK and Sanofi to replace the Derm marketing team.

The derm marketing team has been leaving in droves. I think they're down to 3 from 8.

Derm is dead anyway. Walgreens isn't growing and barely profitable. Every product has generic competition. Management needs to cut the division loose and find a sucker to buy it.

 

Papa has said they are dialing back the direct-to-consumer advertising. Marketing is slimming down.
