My prediction is Nov. 15th 2016. I'm assuming they need to limit bonus payout, but won't wait until just before Christmas.

    What's your estimate?

Aren't all of you forgetting our "ace-in-the-hole"? I think all of you have under estimated our NEW REX VIS AID with, wait for the drum roll......our new PATIENT PROFILES!!!! Now I know what some of you are thinking, that it's just a "redo" of our year old launch vis aid, but is it really? I will admit that it does appear to be amazingly similar to our old vis aid, bit there are key differences! For instance, it has different colors! And then there is, well, what about uh, uh, oh well I can't recall at the moment.

Hmmm? Come to think of it, you just may be right about a reorg in our future, but I did think of one thing that will be our saving grace, and that's the Alz....., oh shit! I forgot that's not looking so great. Let me get back to you guys a little later on.

There are still two more studies to be completed for the Alz drug. It is a notoriously difficult area to trial.

The 2nd study is lower dose (don't ask me why). Thus fail.

And you need 2 positive trials for approval. This even if 3rd positive->no approval.

    This drug is 100% DOA.

This person is right. 99.9% chance this drug is dead. Management will dowsize accordingly. Can't think of a reason why someone isn't looking for next job.

Most people are afraid of change. I'll admit, I don't relish the idea of going to another company, but I'm giving a 100% effort to find something else. I have had all I can take of my idiot DM, and their stupidity, and micromanagement. Also, dealing with the psychos at Otsuka has worn thin as well. I could list a dozen other problems, but all have been mentioned to death here on CP. Lundbeck was good early on, but we badly need new management in the U.S. The only question now, is when does whats-his-face in Denmark decide to pull the plug in the sales force.

The second trial used a lower dose. Can't see how that would turn out positive when the higher doses just failed in a 900 person study.

And the FDA doesn't accept "spin".
You need two positive studies for approval unless you are in some tiny orphan population or have previously negotiated one massive study.

That's why management had intended on not releasing the results until all 3 studies read out. They knew our staff (and investors) would freak out if study 1 bombed. However Otsuka was going to release the info right away, thus their hand was forced.

Otsuka did Lundbeck staff a favor however. Now we know we're screwed and can find new jobs before we are axed.

They knew these results since earlier this summer as enrollment for that study concluded well before the other two. This is the MOST NON-Transparent company I've ever worked for. Negative Karma is coming to it, it's just us employees who were loyal will be the collateral. The Schizophrenia drug will never see the light of day either.

There is only one answer to our problems, and that is the new patient profiles we have! Also, our fantastic bonus program, our reasonable sales goals, and our wonderful partners will save the day!!! Let's have another role play meeting to boost morale!

I wonder what our contractual obligations are to alliance partners regarding number of psych sales reps. It's common knowledge that the psych sales force would be half the current size if it weren't for those commitments.

If they are only for the first couple years post launch, at some point the psych sales force is going to get hammered.
