This can't be true. CL-108 will be a blockbuster drug and we'll have to maintain the sales force to sell it. There's a reason why DSI paid $600 million for it. It will make billions! And then Oncology will be here before we know it. DSI is back baby!

You nailed it. Company is screwed, CL-108 will probably never get approved. Layoffs are coming again. Get ready !

DSI better hope CL-108 never gets approved. It will be a complete dud. It's just too bad that KK doesn't see that. Everyone else at this company realizes it, but the guy steering the ship doesn't? And who thought it was a good idea to drop $600 million on buying it from Charleston Labs? Another terrible decision. And yet, these idiots are the highest paid employees at the company? So they are essentially collecting fat paychecks to destroy DSI and nobody can stop them? Japan obviously is clueless. And by the way, you can't sell Miragablin against generic lyrica. But it will have superiority you say? Well so did Benicar over Cozaar. How did that play out? Oncology? Well 1 of the 4 drugs in phase 3 already got pulled. You're looking at a skeleton crew being needed to sell the others, and that's if anybody them ever hit the market. Will there be a downsizing? If you can't hit your top line sales forecasts, then you're only option is to cut costs. And that means layoffs. Again.

JY of the BD department pushed for the 108 deal. He overruled many colleagues who thought the product was a dud and questioned the stupid deal he put together. We need TRUMP to renegotiate this crappy deal!!!!

Alright, if this is so true and you people really do work in he or financial, then prove it. Provide the date that we are having this so called layoff announcement. I call BS on this. I think people are stirring the the point because who in there right mind that would know this type of info and not post the date of the layoff especially if it has been in the works a long time.

Sounds like you have a short fuse. Take it easy tough guy. Would you like the exact hour and minute as well? I'll dumb it down for you- Savaysa is below plan. Movantik is below plan. Benicar is going genetic in 3 weeks. Welchol will be gone in 6 months. Effient will be gone in 6 months. We have no pipeline. Wake up my friend. You shouldn't need an "exact date" to tell you what will happen next!

Hmmm. Still grossed $2 billion with a generic. Yeah that's poor performance.

Just got back from the NMM. Layoffs are coming. Severence will only be 2 weeks pay for every year of service at DSI. Your best bet is to find a new job ASAP.

Is this true? If so when do they plan to do layoffs?

I find it hard to believe they're going to do layoffs when we have a launch approaching and they gave Welchol to the hospital reps. Future looks bright!

Everything is going generic and Savaysa is well below plan. It's time to move on. It's time to get going. No killer severance this time. Dust off the resume. It's go time!

I've heard a lot of layoff rumors too. But word out of NMM is that hospital is about to get a new drug (not Welchol) and they're close to another copromote for Specialty. Supposedly with CL108 coming too, DSI is expecting to expand in the spring. Anyone know anything about this?
