It's Time to Terminate Thomas L. Lyon III and his suck up sidekick, Sean Swider too!

    Tom has been in the Vaccine Division for about a decade and he only has a couple of successful years. The first successful year he really didn't earn because his Adult Immunization Reps were getting credit for the Pediatric Reps' VARIVAX and GARDASIL doses in the pediatric offices around 2009. He also spent his entire time in Vaccines drowning his reps in wasteful activities by making them come up with business plans that were made up, weekly teleconferences that solved nothing, worthless workshops that were just show pieces for his favorite lapdogs and role play workshops that are nowhere close to the reality of how to sell Vaccines to customers. All of that B.S. busywork made the Miserable Midwest region sublevel set and less than mediocre which led to many of his successful reps and CTL's to leave his region. Enough is enough. Bring in somebody for less money who will actually allow the reps to build relationships, build access and actually sell toward the individual needs of the customers.

    Tommy's self serving lapdog, Sean Swider, needs to go too. He brings no value to the organization when he was a CTL or currently as a VKCL. All he does is put together non approved glamorous sales presentations with no real substance, steals the ideas of reps in his district, forces his district to do his work for him and praises how great Tom is in meetings if he actually decides to go to meetings. How many times can this guy show up to meetings, pretend he gets an important call and then conveniently leave before the meeting is over? Sean the self serving sycophant.

    Drop these two losers and things will get better in the Midwest. There will be less turnover and more sales production. Keeping this deadweight duo will just continue the pattern of more turnover and encourage the region just to do the bare minimum to stay off the radar because nothing really positive happens for people who excel for Tom or Sean. These people are usually exploited, burnt out then leave.

    Don't forget about TL's policy violations. He's the only DCO I know with multiple policy violations yet never receiving punishment.

    The Detroit Health Department can't stand S. Swider. DHD employees still talk about how much they miss the original Public Sector Manager, GL. They figured out right away Swider was a self serving pest without a clue. Swider's negative reputation is spreading like a plague . You reap what you sow little red brat.

    Good luck with that. He is exactly what this leadership wants to see. It's a real shame. Because the butt kissing has gone a long way in his career. And his leaders have no idea that he can't think on his own. He either regurgitates what he hears or steals a colleagues idea and uses it as his own. And any sales success that's been seen during his award years was simply due to the fact that the results the prior year were absolutely bottom of the barrel. So he was building on top of a trash heap of poor results. What goes down must come up. Yet the awards fly his way. A real sham.

    Everyone knows Sean's a tool except the tone deaf upper management. He's running out allies because he keeps screwing people over. If his personal Messiah Tom Lyon doesn't move up higher in the company the little red suck up may have to take his sycophant show to another company that doesn't know his cheesy reputation.

    This delusional narcissist expects to have a minute to minute itinerary when he goes on field visits and every Merck employee in that state has to stop what they are doing to kiss the ring of this fraud when he waddles into town consuming everything in sight. You should hear him try to detail customers. He is horrible when it comes to pediatric Vaccines and he certainly doesn't follow his role play advice when it comes to talking about any vaccines. He brings very little to the conversation and doesn't have the marketing messages memorized like he expects his reps to do. He expects reps to stay on conversation even when they talk to challenging customers who want to change the subject yet if a customer does that to him, he will immediately go off topic to cater to them. He is such a hypocrite who isn't that exceptional at detailing customers. He is just stealing a paycheck in Merck Vaccines. Thou shall not steal TL.

    Keep exposing this fraud. Eventually, they won't want to overpay him anymore for more years at the bottom than the top.

    Firecrotch is also known for dropping deuces in offices whilst on field visits. He will do his business then leave the door open while the staff gasps for air. One time he spent 10 minutes on the can on a TC. He is a serial pooper.

    I wouldn't be surprised. Have you ever noticed little red rarely ever eats the lunch reps brings or the food at meetings? In his delusional mind, he is too good for that stuff. He has to bring his special healthy foods because he may still get acting/modeling role. LOL!!!

    Tommy's management team is a trainwreck. Most are uber competitive backstabbing CTL's and VKCL's that can't stand each other. Losing Lyon knows how to assemble a toxic crabs in a barrel management team. No wonder so many people are leaving his region. Time to go Tommy.

    Tom Lyon has not contributed a single dime to the Vaccine Division. He has not sold a vaccine or convinced a customer to keep using a vaccine. All he does is facilitate meetings/teleconferences, talk nonstop about himself, use corporate buzzwords that he didn't come up with, waste corporate money on milk run field visits, use corny themes or phrases he didn't come up with, bugs his reps to write detailed account plans that only benefit him and keeps his region fighting amongst each other to get promoted or to get raises that Tom rarely offers. Merck wasted it's money on him. Merck could have hired a high school teacher for much less to get more out of the Midwest region and less people leaving the region. Tom needs to go!!!! This overpriced experiment has failed miserably.

    He's like Swider, he steals ideas or backstabs reps, CTL's, VKCL's and fellow DCO's to impress Jan and Colleen. Karma is coming for him. It's inevitable.
