Pharma is a great easy low pressure job...(ready to hear from the reps who are just a little too tightly wound up)...no 100K is not great if you live in NYC or SFO...but in Dallas, Akron, or any midsize city its not bad....a monkey f*ing a football can basically handle 95% of what reps do daily..(again chime in with the I'm busting my butt replies- good for you)....

So the OP feels underpaid...well best of luck getting on your new job search! pharma's kinda of tapped out on paying us more $$ - ie ask that contract rep..the one who worked 10+ years for big pharma co before the big layoff how the income stream looks now...

My old retired uncle made about $70K in 1980 that's about $215K in today's terms (thanks google) that was the glory days 1 rep/1 territory (his big pharma had 300 reps total!)..point is income for this job has been and continues to decrease....

Go out and get that 100% commish job, drive your own car, pay for your phone/internet, health insure, 401k, travel expenses, experience 'clawback' and 'draws' and learn to live like a KING!!! or just pipe down and stop complaining.
