I walked into headquarters today and could swear I heard a band playing "Nearer my God to Thee" This place is like a ghost town and those walking look like the walking dead.

Executives keep saying, "just listen to the music, don't think about what is actually happening, and everything will be just fine" which is true until moment they planned for things to change.

Look at how many first class passengers have already taken to the lifeboats and departed this ship. That tells you all that you need to know. If you are not looking for another gig then you will be left with the helpless and the hopeless masses who will continue to convince themselves that they are safe.

I work in hq and can confirm that more announcements of high level departures via early retirement and seeking other opportunities are on the way. Stay tuned.

It may not be next year until additional layoffs ensue, either.

Some major shakeups coming in the Account Director ranks. When you hear that he or she is leaving to spend more time with their family, that is code for, washed up and shipped out.

I can't believe how the "culture" of this once great company has deteriorated. We live in a climate of fear of backstabbing and low morale. Our leaders are "yes men" afraid to tell senior leadership or marketing that their decisions are wrong for this market. What might have worked in the UK won't work here. I see great sales reps leaving to other companies. I see the wrong people promoted. I see some excellent reps being forced out on bogus HR issues. So much more I can write but you get the point. We are dying a slow slow painful death. Those of us that have been around and were proud of our past accomplishments are just hanging around and hoping to retire. It's so sad to see.

Welcome back bitch. You sucked when you worked here and you suck now. Let it go, he fired you for good reason. Get over it and move on.

It would be nice to see Tilton, Tuller, Bonnell, and Canning back.

I am assuming that this was intended to get a laugh. It sent shivers up my back instead. These 4 were the most destructive four people ever to sit in a leadership chair. And where are they now? Live by the sword, die by the sword.

they are doing great with other organizations... Life is good, thanks for asking...

Oh, and AZ is dying the slow death, one UK/Canadian leader at a time. So cool you get to be someone's development plan from global and teach them the US market.

We are just glad that they are gone regardless of the success of AZ. There leadership style of bullying others in order to make themselves look smarter or tougher was extremely destructive. How many people had their careers damaged by these bozos who used their power to embarrass and belittle people until the morale of their reports was near zero. Fear and intimidation are only short term fixes and only work when the person holding the whip is in the room.

Many times they were overheard making fun of fellow AZ employees within their small circle of Nazi cohorts. They preached teamwork while seeking individual gain and power status by marginalizing anyone who stood in their way. Can anyone name one concept or creative idea that any one of these four initiated during their reign of terror? They stole good ideas and took credit for successes and passed blame onto those who might compete for their next coveted promotion. Even worse, they attacked and marginalized those responsible for the idea or success. Again, I ask, does anyone miss them?

I don't know about the people referred to on this post. I just want leaders who understand the business. I came from another company a few years ago and am astounded at the lack of knowledge and opportunities lost as a result.

Trust me, Tilton had no real sales experience and had no respect for sales people. He rose through the ranks never leaving HQ and Tuller was one of his toadies. The other two were from the most abusive and caustic company in history. The four together was a marriage made in hell. They competed for who could be the baddest ass in the company.

I never knew Tuller and only met Bonnell once briefly, but the above post if absolutely true about MT and JC. They jumped over each other to show how tough they were which simply played out by trying to humiliate people in front of their peers. They came to meetings specifically to target a few people and never once contributed a positive idea or offered to assist in accomplishing a task.
