I have a chance to interview with the hiring manager for a position in Ohio. I was wondering is this a good division to get into? Also, when can I expect to get promoted to a sales rep position and how much does the total comp look like for the sales rep. I have 5 years of 2b2 experience, but willing to take a Associte role just to get into Med sales. Tnx ahead
Take the job you r*****. B2B compared to medical sales is night and day. Start a new career and get out of selling cell phones and copiers. Stryker sucks but it time to be a grown up and stop wearing those red/Aqua/mustard shirts marshalls sells with matching ties in a box and be a grown up
To be fair, he did say 2B2, which I think means he was some type of android on a Star Wars movie. That's got to count for something on his resume.
yeah check out KLS if you want: 1- to make much less money 2- to be the distant 3rd in the CMF market 3- be on the verge of large organization changes as mike, mike, and jeff are about to retire 4- are a terrible sales rep and can only win business by throwing money at doctors and institutions
Been here this same garbage for years. The good old boys are not going anywhere. KLS is growing and taking your market share. The KLS pipeline has pumped out more products in the past 5 years then stryker has in the last 15. The commission rates are better than Strykers.
Haha, looks like I struck a nerve. Enjoy your shit pay and "pipeline". Good luck writing a check to your next omfs chair!
Yes exactly. How's KLS going to buy anyone or be bought out? They have a good game and gold reps. But the future is in acquisition and mergers and KLS seems to be the one left holding the bag. Even if they have some money in that bag.
Nailed it. KLS isn't going anywhere. They continue to dominate and take market share across the country.
Think about other CMF companies who carry sternal and rib plating. You also want to look at current, future and past pipelines of each companies. How many products has the company released over the past 5 years and what do they have coming out. Find the company that know the right path to bring new products to market either through internal development or via acquisitions.
