Kiss your ass goodbye by the end of the year. Contract already signed off and the way forward is very positive. The owners are very pleased!

PC went to contract six years ago. We haven't actually hired a new rep since then.

That strategy was discarded. The company went back to hiring it's own PC reps a while ago.

Their is truth to this post. How many PC reps do you know who were hired after the Merck/Schering merger in 2010? I am in the West and every time someone leaves, their position is absorbed by remaining reps. This must be the longest unofficial hiring freeze in the history of pharma.

I interviewed with Merck a few years ago. The manager gave me positive feedback (which any feedback is unheard of now of days) however an internal candidate got the position. I hated that they had me drive 2 hours for a job an interview that they knew was filled, just a waste of time however things work out for a reason .

No worries, VP of sales Bob M went on official record this past Friday and said THERE WOULD BE NO PC FIELD SALES CUTS. He said this to reps, ctl's and dco's on several calls. There you have it, we are safe.

"All is well, all is well!" Was the mantra repeated by the officers on the Titanic. Just saying.

Bob's honesty is beyond reproach. All managers are of the highest integrity. I've never known them to lie about anything….or is it tell the truth about anything….I can't remember.
