I left HCV to go to oncology, but one of the reps still over there told me that a handful of the TBMs were offered another (top secret) retention bonus to not abandon the division. However, only certain ones were offered, and they were mainly the kiss asses. Anyone get this offer? I can't more than a couple

Yes; this is true. BMS is going to relaunch DeCleansa as the new douche wash. We have a better chance of actually growing market share in the douche market. Mono therapy...just mix water to one decleansa pill. The remaining TBMs will become douche reps.

The HCV division may hang on for a little bit if they find something else to promote, but to be sure, this was ALWAYS the division of favorites. If you are one of the favorites (JM, TMD, VT, KS, etc) you will be transitioned to another role and looked out for. If you are just one of the others who have just done their jobs, but never been taken care of by CV or BN, don't expect it to happen now. So glad I got out of that place. It's an HR nightmare waiting to happen...

So true. I have never seem such favoritism, and the favorites were not the high performing reps. It set such a bad example.
The favoritism displayed at NSMs made me sick to my stomach, almost as much as BN standing on stage "taking questions" which was just another opportunity for him to talk about himself or his favorites.
I always kept my nose clean, my numbers high and out of HR's hair. But it didn't matter bc I wasn't a favorite. I'm sad I left the company but happy this division is coming to an end.

I saw this unfolding before the launch and got out while the going was good. Worst organization I've ever seen.....

so what is the point of having a select group that will get another retention bonus. isn't EVERYONE going to be gone by christmas?

They didn't expect most of the sales team to be around by now. Even though they did the shittiest job helping the reps find new positions within BMS.
So now they have a big team, and outdated drug. So Bill will keep his favorites and get rid of the rest. And obviosly BN plays favorites so every one know who he picked!

What do you mean Bill will keep them?? To do what? The division will be gone, right?

What? Bill's favorites went to a different division in July. Keep his favorites? What does that even mean? Your post is dumb
