First time reader here. Sadly, this still rings true 2.5 years later.

ESS doomed diabetes. It has been a long, slow ride to the bottom. The portfolio is dying on the vine and we can't do anything about it with this structure. Another epic AZ failure.

This is correct, didn't want to post the specifics. One foot out the door already, I suggest you all plan accordingly and save up for some unplanned time off.

Never like to see anyone lose their job but most agree ESS is simply not ( and never was) needed. There are plenty of reps already in territory with new cvmet structure so no need for ESS. Majority of DSSs already had strong endo relationships anyway- so ESS brings no additional value and are just a drain on revenue.

Newsflash dumbass, we are all a drain on revenue. Nobody is safe here. Nobody. You could be a 5 time COE winner and have connections at the highest levels in leadership and be let go next week. The bean counters and lawyers are running this layoff show and relationships and performance ratings are considered subjective and legal liabilities. It is strictly cutting costs now but done with a legal filter to avoid lawsuits. They don't even have names attached to the cut targets.

To you and your CVmet cohorts, aka, AZ Legacy, you can all take the ESS jobs that you've always wanted so badly, but wouldn't admit. We wish you all the very best. - Your Elite ESS Team

I rarely post on here but as part of CvMET i am offended by this comment. I can assure you none of us want to "take over" your job. CNS went thru the layoff process over the summer and we were given a directive to help drive market share, as a result added to your team. No one wants to see your job, or anyone elses for that matter, disappear. we are all in this together and lets face it, we have no control over business decisions made at the top.
