Well, there has been quite a few comments on CP in re beta vs gamma. Beta protests that they have twice the responsibility, 3x to 4x the number of partners to deal with, programs for both drugs, 5x the number of samples to keep up with, outrageous goals, all for the same amount of money. Sounds like they have a very valid protest.

Agree with you completely except Gammas don't do trintellix programs and before you rebut me I was a beta that got switched to gamma not on my choice but based on new maps and geographies so I was origional beta hired 2013

Betas don't get trin money. Only my gamma does

Gammas get Trintellix speaker funds, Betas get Rexulti. What really sucks is when management expects Beta to also do Trintellix programs like the non branded stuff that just came out. Gammas: you get paid for only 1 drug - you do all the Trintellix after hours stuff, not me.

There is only one solution to the growing beta vs gamma dissension, and that's a good old fashion role-playing-a-reprint-carrier session! That's the ticket!

No seriously, Lundbeck has some real and serious issues with the sales teams. We all know what they are. One thing I know, they will not be addressed. The next few months will be interesting to say the least.

And when the bonus checks come out next week, we will all start to see the discrepancy in payout between the two sales forces. T3 will be even worse as the Rexulti goals are unrealistic. GJ, you better get out ahead of this because I will ask the question on our next Town Hall with Glover. Be prepared.

Betas are the cry babies about everything. Gamma is the more talented and the higher salaries.

Only way gamma is around next year is if they are selling Rexulti, or promoting Trintellix to PC drs. No other need for them.

    OK Sparky, I'll play along
What was the volume and market share before you got there? We all know it hasn't increased much in the year gamma has been here (look at the quarterly reports). Now whatever that increase is subtract about 40% (at least) that your beta counterpart produced.
Net result: no need for gamma. They are only here to collect a royalty check from Takeda for calls. Inventiv or PSS would have been cheaper.

Unethical to spin the data like that my friend.

    Why?

Let me do the math for you my friend. Lundbeck spent 20-30 million on the gamma sales force. Q4 results for Trintellix were 19 million. Q1 2016 were 21 million for Trintellix. Difference is 2 million. Hmm. Spent 20+ for a return of 2. Let's see what the results look like moving forward. Again, if it wasn't for the milestone payment for calls made under the Takeda contract, gamma wouldn't be here.

You seem very bitter. I guess gamma reps were brought over at higher salaries.

The only reps with any talent in this company are the Alpha reps. Especially, if you were here in the early days, part of the original 64!! The rest of you guys are glorified primary care reps!

Reality is alpha reps are paid like primary care reps and that's why they walk around so bitter all the time. Beta reps too. Gamma reps brought the pay scale into the 120s.

$120's my ass! The dissension is growing by the day. Beta always gets screwed. Twice the responsibility, for the same pay, and less bonus! They are going to run off a lot of people if things don't change, but maybe that's the plan. The outrageous Rex goals are the last straw, not to mention the unattainable 8 calls per day. Lundbeck is at a crossroads with the sales force. I have never seen a company deteriorate as fast as Lundbeck has. 2017 will see a lot of changes. Bet on it.

All work and low pay makes beta reps very bitter. My question is it really the companies fault or is it the beta reps fault for being so gulliable a few years back when they were hired. Most would never accept a job with a low ball salary and a bag of empty promises. Shame on the beta reps.

We bought the lies hook, line and sinker. Now we have Rexulti goals that are laughable, 15 Takeda/Otsuka partners, and on, and on, and on. Otsuka people need to be put ON Rexulti! Their management is actually baffled why nobody is hitting their goals! Can their management literally be this stupid????? 70% sales goal increase in a declining market?? Then Lundbeck screws us with their infamous GRID on bonus! Enough is enough! Our "management" is totally clueless, or just simply doesn't give a rat's ass. Either way, it's time to bail out, because this "building the plane as we fly" crap doesn't cut it any more!
