Values and Behaviors

    I meant to comment on this in a previous thread but didn't quite make the point I wanted to make. When the company talks about values and behaviors and yet quite obviously breaks or at least bends federal law, what does that say about the company? If a manager lauds a representative for success when everyone including the manager knows they are shattering every rule in the book (and later is caught and fired for such infractions) what does that say? It says "Hypocrisy." Values and Behaviors is a metric of great subjectivity. If a rep's personal values and behaviors are on a higher level than those of the company but he or she is constantly berated for same in their evaluations, what does that say? Think about it management.

    If HR was doing the job they would be investigating those committing these illegal acts. Problem is that the ones directing the dirty deeds are among the higher ups and they are immune to HR. HR is only there to protect the company from the rank and file.
