Sorry leaders are currntly in short supply at Alcon. We are scraping the bottom of the talent barrel and are being beset by a flood of ex-NVS' misfits. Alcon has become the place where NVS non-performers are sent for "detention" and punishment. You are just going to have to lead yourself and suck it in to survive in this crazy environment where it is every man for himself.
Unfortunately Robme Dumbass was brought to take over Vit-Ret by Sabrina himself right before he left to replace the Frenchmen who is now an advisor at the the Lake Forest Site. I say re-instate the Frenchmen and give him back the reins. At least he never lied to your face, he may have given you a blunt unfiltered answer but I'd rather have that than this BS, the Frenchmen also could make a decision and knew the business. This dumbass can not create a strategy to save his life.
the problem is, surgical has been performing globally for 6 decades ! this is raising many questions on NVS leadership why NVS pharma and other stuffs don't perform. so here is the answer, move all those great inefficient leaders to Alcon to have harmony in growth !!! any way the compliance, ethical business, step change, global warming, polar bear....are the good themes NVS leadership continue to use for a decade to cover their incapability and lack of understanding any business. They just talk about all these, because they have no clue and strategy for Alcon. So have it for break fast.....
Yeah, but he (R.D.) was hired by Sabrina to replace the Frenchmen. I think Sabrina wanted someone he could control. I think P.R. was also hired by Sabrina. I wonder if Sabrina saw the knife coming when PR stabbed him in the back and took his job. Either way PR and Sabrina were lying sacks and R.D. Is following in their footsteps.
MB will eventually take over this joke of a division and Robme, Frenchme, Caseme, Martme will be fired (deservingly so) because just like a can of Spam their expiration date has passed.
MB taking over was expected he is a t-Rex amongst sheep like Robme. Robme has no balls to make a decision to save his life. He's using the SR staff to do everything and then pissing it all away. You can say what you want about the Sr staff, but I can honestly say MM, GC and CL are working their f'ing asses off to get $hit done, they just don't get credit for it and Robme just waffles on making the final decision. I've seen them repeatedly take bullets to protect those who are busting their a$$ to make progress. I'd back them up in a fight any day. I've seen them working around the clock fighting a useless battle because it's the only way to try to save things. The honest truth Frankie is in over his head, Robme is a waste of space and the SR staff is F#cked as a result. Thank you Sabrina for your legacy of destruction. If you disagree, then you are misinformed and don't have the bloody scars some of us do who have faught on the front lines against the madness that Sabrina created.
At least frenchman had vision to bring OCT and diagnostics to surgical. And what are MB's accomplishments? The microscope fiasco, Verion that does not work, Centurion - Infiniti with marginally better fluidics. He felt threatened by and kicked out anyone who had any vision. Mike P. is the only chance for forward looking surgical.
MB is a joke, agreed. All he cares about is titles and now he is VP of bullshit. What a joke. He has two kids as project heads in cat SC and vit PK. These two morons are in leadership positions but neither of them has ever developed and released a product to the market, they are both still in diapers. LF R&D is doomed, it's just a matter of time.
