    Hey everybody

Currently in capital/disposable (non surgical, office setting). I don't have the biggest interest for moving in to a surgical sales role and being in surgeries but the recruiter made it sound like this is more selling/on to the next one and not so much time in surgeries.

Obviously a great company so I am interested- can anybody weigh in on this? Thanks!

Navigation is one of Stryker's worst divisions...it's not a product that they pump a lot into. You're clearly 3rd in the market behind Medtronic and BrainLab and it's not close. You may find some install bases here and there, but the other 2 companies dominate that space. Additionally, it's a large capital sale and depending on where you are, capital can be tough. Stryker is a great company and makes great products, but I would avoid this job.

My take as a spine rep for Stryker. Medtronic nav is like Microsoft. Very basic, not too sexy but a definite workhorse and solid reputation. BrainLab is Apple. Very innovative, strong software and sexy. Stryker is like Dell. Hardware and software are weak and the product is too expensive.
