Never said I wasn't interviewing. I am just being choosy. Not jumping one burning ship for another. The pay here is not bad so as long as they keep paying me I see no reason to make rash decisions

Then good luck, brother, you'll need it. There are lots of company like Valeant where the managers micromanage everything that you do, load more work when you're already over worked, and then screw you on your bonus since you couldn't get all your work done. That's corporate america.

Oddly enough, no there isn't. One would think there was considering the poor financial state. We're seeing old layers of management being added back in that were eliminated previously. Almost like their fattening up the payroll in anticipation of a lot of near-retirement people taking packages in the next round of redundancy rationalizations.

In some divisions, there was over a 40-% turnover. They have to hire in order to even come close to hitting some of these financial goals

The same here as well... any updates on your situation? Is there a hiring freeze?

There is a freeze but it isn't being discussed. After being told I could easily be replaced I left and they have not been able to fill my position because Papa has to personally approve all new hires and he is refusing. I spoke with multiple people and they confirmed it. One manager fought it and threatened to quit before they approved the new hires.

BS. Don't scare people you loser. I am a manager and there is no freeze in place. People have enough to worry about here, this isn't one of them.

Man, shut the hell. You don't even work here. People who work here knows there's a freeze. Go long your Valeant ass somewhere else!

It's more of a bureaucratic constipation than a freeze but the effect is the same. Stocking up on contractors is no problem though.

We're double calling BS on you. In the plants - where people make the stuff for people to sell so we get dollars - huge freaking problem filling open positions. Some of these are positions very close to the customer, critical for making sure product gets shipped to customers. So, don't tell us there's a hiring freeze. There's a lot of folks who've been working over time for 2 years and supervisors working 75+ hours per week because of the hiring freeze. So if you think there isn't one, you're plainly out of touch with where the rubber meets the road.

Wow, quite classy of you to name call. Why don't you ask around? Have you tried hiring someone? I left a few months ago and my role was never filled even though a candidate was selected. When the staff questioned management, they were told a hiring freeze was in place. So perhaps they are misinformed because the manager lied, but why would they make something like that up.
