The worst leadership in the country is the Colorado team. D & J must go before all quality reps leave. Many already gone and more to go. Colorado is a circus with two clowns in charge.

I hate to break it to you, but it isn't going to happen. You have mistaken The ZB leadership as an upstanding group. Here is a secret for you. They are trying to figure out who you are. And they will. How you will know is, they will start ignoring you and will have a Sales Manager start "sucking up" to you with BS lies. And while you are trying to figure out what is going on, they will destroy you and anybody else they feel is a problem. Now, the important question is how do I know? Easy, i have been watching them do it for a long time. And I was suckered into helping them a while ago and then they destroyed me. Don't trust any of them! Loyalty only goes so far towards you, but at the end of the day the dirty little secrets they have on each other goes farther.

Could it be turned around? Who would they bring in to do the job? Ideas?

Colorado is a disaster! Business is walking and the competition is benefiting all day long. New leadership!!

There's a lot of recent (i.e. within past 9 mos.) influx/migration into ZB Colorado from Covidien up the road no?

Heard Colorado Springs is a disaster, good reps left for Stryker. ZB is going down hard.

The ZB reps in Colorado Springs were really good reps who had been there a long time. They won't leave much for ZB.

Now the biggest account in the state is headed to Depuy Synthes. Watch the rats flee the sinking ship.

Guess what, another senior quality rep is gone. What a surprise. Zimmer management - they just don't get it. Lot's of chatter about more. Stay tuned.

They need to bring back some strong leadership that they had in the past. They were full of talent back in the day. Several have moved on to bigger opportunities and have done well. What a shame!

Plenty of solid former managers and reps could possibly turn it around but the change needs to happen quickly. Could be too little too late. Colorado was a top notch sales organization under Al Larsen!

    What account is that?

OrthoColorado. Not surprised though, majority of surgeons didn't have confidence in the products and only a few truly benefited from the "business" deal in place. Depuy will do well there on the back of superior trauma service.

If Devin loses that account then he hasn't done his job. ZB has the business! To lose it is a ridiculous thought.

    Thought you would say that.
You must work for DePuy Synthes.
I was there when OC opened and the switch to Zimmer was like pulling teeth. Depuy had their chance then too but had almost zero support from the docs. After all that, there is no enthusiasm to switch vendors again and the entire vendor selection exercise now is simply going to push pricing down more with no or little shift in market share. Everyone but the hospital loses.

No we have Steve Erickson who can close any deals he wants. We will get the contract with the 3 stooges: Erickson, Hultzapple and Jon

How boring! Wasn't it last year all of you Depuy reps were complaining to Depuy to get rid of SE and DH. But it wasn't SE and DH that is trying to get the ortho deal,it was a seasoned Depuy rep. Sorry to say, but ZB reps and ZB so called "sales managers" are not seasoned enough to go up against even one Depuy rep.

Come On Keiger, at least tell us how great you are. OC is going no where soon. Both of our camps are led by rookies in the business sense none of them have advanced degrees they have their positions because of time not sales.

The 3 guys who are running the Depuy deal, DH, SE and JK are just driving price down with no chance of securing a sole source deal. All play!!

Again, how boring! And like always you are wrong! I am not Keiger. I am just a bystander watching ZB Colorado implode. And while you all are whining on here, someone is meeting with OC to make a better deal! You really are the rookie!
