The only reason I wished I still worked there is to have a front row seat to watch him squirm. I hear he is shaking in his boots because there are high priority outages all the time, people only follow him out of fear and he is still deflecting arrows at his puppy dog VPs. It's a shame the CFO can't see through the smoke and mirrors.

For those still in IT, what are your thoughts?

Are we trying to bury the post?

    What does IT think?

Tenured valuable employees are resigning every week. Phones and order to cash cannot collect losing $. No IT leadership. His own vice presidents are on cruise control ready to cash out. They coerce and cover each other. DM is in the dark. DM thinks everything okay. His vice presidents hide the details especially JE and KS. DM your days are numbered. You have no followers because your directs are just nodding saying what you want to hear and telling the employees something else. Wondering why WTR is low? Confidence in leadership is low? Too bad you had to find out on here. Your leadership style is akin to a brown recluse. At least D.R. had false conviction. He was just wrong. You have clueless conviction. Blind. And your VPs are the ones making you blind. You are on the tee. FORE!

I've been gone for 3 years now and it seems thinks haven't changed. To everyone still around, there is life outside KCI and I suggest you find it. Obviously SLT members have no clue how bad it is. If DM leaves, who would you like to take over from the ones left? Is the replacement worse than what you currently have?

Finally, the world realizes the leader doesn't have a clue. No strategy. No followers. He doesn't understand what his teams are doing. DMulligan is a wash. Casey, the wash will only flow uphill. How dare you keep such a sapp on-board. Only a fool. His leadership style awash. Time will recon.

I love the mission of Acelity. I have worked in IT for 9+ years and I cannot stand the lack of leadership by KS and JE. They talk out one side their mouth in one meetin and out the other side the next. I'm so tired. They will say anthing to keep the boat from rockin'. I'm just lost.

It is a matter of perspective. They have a vested interest to make it to the finish line. Screw you. Screw them (our point). If they can hold out for their numbers, who gives a crap about you. There are big $ for it. Don't care if you are tier 1 2 our 3. They have $ tied to it. Screw you while patting you on the back. They will arrange.

wouldnt the employee survey be a better way to work this out? NO. They nail down to department and title.

No. They track, attack and filter responses from reaching management. That is why nothing changes.

Just remember, we have an MBO to make sure we approve. How hypocritical. Let's make sure our eloyees approve by making an MBO to make sure they approve. F U. Our IT leadership sucks. How dare they make an MBO to make us bow to the objectives illegal!

told you so. He's an empty leader. Wonder why WTR is so low. It's because of you're empty followers. You STILL refuse to acknowledge. Bad choice. It's you're own demise. the good thing is , Ed is switching sides. Watch the F out. He will expose you and your BS Alliance. Time is ticking.

OMG. Casey - I don't know you but, don't ruin your career as the man in charge of IT. Please. I am in IT and they snow you over constantly. Don't fall for it. Mulligan has no clue what he is talking about. Question him. Please.

I don't know guys I'm starting to see change. Ryan and Kyle are bringing in some good leaders and for the first time in a while I'm starting to see the end of the tunnel. I'm in the infrastructure team and have to say it's gotten a lot better. We actually have time to work on innovation and aren't completely buried in project work.

I've not been in the infrastructure team too long and I have to say it was far better where I came from. All the leadership above me are "Yes" men or women. This is definitely only a 3 year stop for me as the future for IT here is "India" based. All the experience is gone, they knew what was going and ensured we had fun. Current management above are clueless and not in touch.

India work load is the crap I don't want to do. I'd rather be focused on building new and not maintaining the old. Our work life balance has been much better than when it all fell to us. The India team is not doing as good as they should be... No doubt, but I see that things are being worked on and I have trust that the management team is working to address it.

    What team are you in?

I've been here for a good bit of time and I think it is getting better but still a ways to go and it is slow to change a ship this large. If you want to make it a short term stay that's your call. There are good things and bad things about every place you go. If you are looking for problems, you will find them. We lost a bunch of people over this last year or so in the infrastructure group, they helped grow the group while the company was growing. Now we need to carry the torch forward. Enjoy the time while you are here, I am.
