Maybe this person is from another company and is just asking for advice - who knows! Anyway, here is my advice.... I was put on similar "plans" with 2 different companies - both managers were jerks and had unrealistic expectations. In both cases, I was told that it would all work out if I just did "the assignments" etc. I did exactly as they asked. In the end.....fired. So take my advice - consider yourself gone. Kiss that job goodbye. The odds are against you. Start looking for another job TODAY. Don't be a fool and believe that manager. I think they are just going through the formality of firing you and in the mean time, they can keep you working like a dog so it does not hurt THEIR DISTRICT NUMBERS. I have VERY good numbers. Numbers will not save you - you can take that to the bank. Take this post to heart and you will be glad that you did. Pharma has become one big joke.

If this is someone genuinely seeking advice, some of the responses are disgusting and it's to be hoped that the people who posted those responses are not trusted to manage staff.

The PIP is not intended to help you get back on track. At BMS the PIP is used get people out.

Seen this happen to too many good people. Proof that reps have little true effect on numbers.
Insurance companies own us. If youre on the formulary in a favorable position, you are golden, not, youre a bum.
PIP's are a 90 day vacation for you to find another job. The company has to pay you for 90 days, and they want you to earn it. I have seen only two reps come off a WW, one banged her manager, the other threatened an age discrimination suit and company folded. He had them by the balls.
Be happy. Youre going to get out of this shithole.

Self entitled waste of space. I bet you are white, overweight, divorced, and never worked hard a day in your life. Shame on you.
