    they make more per hour, and have a pension.
    here, in NY, my friend makes 150k, as a principal. his pension is going to be well over 100k, when he retires. teachers in NY are usually at 70k/year pension.

    you are clueless, so stay in pharma. its a good fit for you.

    Teachers in Westchester and LI make over $100,000 with a few yrs. experience; their medical coverage is greater than yours as is their pension and many more days off and summer off and no take home headache work. They do it on their free period so do not tell me they do not make squat. Their unions have ruined NY & NJ not to mention principals and vice principals.

    The Democrats have been in control of the state government for years so half of what you are making is going to taxes to support the crooked politicians and their blood sucking constituents.

    UM, when you add in sales tax, county tax, city tax, excise tax, luxury tax, gas tax, Federal tax, Medicare tax, dog tax, auto license tax and fees, it is close to 70% of every dollar I earn in NYC.

    Principals and administrators make good money. Teachers make dick. Avg starting salary is below 50k.
